Emily Saves the Orchestra

During a performance of Beethoven’s 9th symphony, Emily, a spunky 10 year old, is drawn out of her seat and onto the stage by the strains of the beautiful music. But her bold behavior brings her more than she has bargained for as she soon finds herself face to face with the lord of darkness and noise, the terrible monster Cacopholous, and a battle to save music.

In what has been called “a visually stunning production” this fully-staged symphony concert introduces audiences to the basic musical elements of rhythm, melody, harmony and dynamics, all explored through the music of the world’s greatest composers.

The performance lasts approximately 55 minutes and is recommended for ages 4 and up.
