Where does music come from? The sun is setting on a crisp day in late fall when two tramps wander into a junkyard on the edge of town.  Cold, tired and hungry they are about to settle down for the night when a beautiful reverberation fills the night air.  Discovering music lurking in unexpected places – a saw that can play duets with a cello, bottles that play with the flutes, a scrap of brightly colored material that conjures up an evening in Vienna — the tramps are launched into a fantasy world where music and beauty can be found in all that surrounds them.
Without a single spoken word, this symphony program uses an original score and a rich repertoire of Romantic and 20th century works to weave the magic of an inspiring tale.

The performance lasts approximately 55 minutes and is recommended for ages 6 and up.
